Professional Profile

Mrs. Gauthier is an epidemiologist in ToxStrategies’ EpidStrategies division. She has experience in both healthcare data analysis and environmental assessment analysis, and has performed qualitative and quantitative analyses on data from a variety of sources for a range projects, including a CDC-partnership project on C-difficile infections in hospitals. She is proficient in the use of the SAS and R software packages and has created visual products for presentations using tools that include Tableau, Canva, and PowerPoint. She also has produced REDCap reports and dashboards for benchmarking metrics.

Mrs. Gauthier developed a dataflow manual for the Michigan Division of Environmental Health to be used in departmental health studies that included guidelines on writing code for cleaning and organizing data and creating data warehousing structures. As an intern while pursuing her master’s degree, she completed a white paper on the availability of blood lead data in Michigan and their potential use in state policymaking, and she also compiled Oakland County lead and copper data into a single database for use by county personnel.
