Carrie Price is an Information Specialist/Research Librarian. She has extensive experience as a health sciences librarian in academic, hospital, and federal settings. Her skill set includes developing reproducible, transparent, unbiased, and comprehensive literature searches, collaborating on evidence synthesis projects, providing information science reference services, and instructing in best practices for searching and optimizing research workflows. She has co-authored over 50 systematic or scoping reviews and has supported the scholarly research needs of students, faculty, scientific staff, and healthcare providers.
Ms. Price has also served as an information specialist for various national and international research groups. She is an active member of the Medical Library Association. She is skilled in supporting all stages of the literature search workflow with systematic review tools, literature analysis tools, bibliographic citation databases, clinical trial registries, citation management, and more.
Ms. Price has been working in evidence synthesis methodologies for over a dozen years, as a co-author, a methodologies consultant, and trainer. She is an expert in comprehensive literature searching, as well as literature review reporting and conduct. She has co-authored approximately 50 published manuscripts since 2020, with 92 research products throughout her career. She currently conducts active research in her field around peer review and research integrity.
