Ann Shaller is a Senior Technical Editor in ToxStratetigies’ Client Services group. She has more than 30 years of experience in writing and editing, as well as in library and information sciences. Ms. Shaller’s wide-ranging career has allowed her the opportunity to work for both Fortune 500 companies and scientific consulting firms.
As a writer and editor, she has created in-house news products and assisted in writing technical reports and court documents. She also has extensive experience in editing book chapters, professional publications, poster presentations, and conference papers. Her editorial scope includes business communication, toxicology and epidemiology, public health and hazard communication, and risk assessment. Additionally, she has provided instruction in writing technique. Ms. Shaller’s goal is to assist her colleagues in making complex concepts readily understandable to the target audience while adhering to proper grammar and punctuation, and utilizing logically constructed arguments.
As an information professional, Ms. Shaller has worked in academic, corporate. and special libraries, where she has used evolving technology to make information more accessible to her clients. She has created searchable databases of corporate assets, and has developed both electronic and physical document collections, as well as visual reference libraries. She has a demonstrated history of providing research in support of corporate and scientific/technical projects, including acquiring reference materials in a variety of formats.
