ToxStrategies presenting at the Annual American Society of Cellular and Computational Toxicology (ASCCT) Meeting Oct 28th-30th

ToxStrategies will be presenting at the 13th Annual American Society of Cellular and Computational Toxicology (ASCCT) Meeting in Research Triangle Park, NC, from October 28th to 30th. Drs. Susan Borghoff, Neepa Choksi, Isabel Lea, and Brianna Rivera, and Ms. Tammie Covington are looking forward to the opportunity of networking and discussing their work.

Dr. Lea will present work on using computational tools in a human-in-the-loop approach to systematic evidence mapping. She will present a suite of computational tools designed to facilitate human decision making and reduce the rote tasks required of human reviewers to increase the speed and accuracy of review.

Ms. Covington will present work on using an in silico mass balance distribution model in conjunction with in vitro experimental results to define a domain of applicability for testing chemicals in high-throughput assays.

ToxStrategies is excited to have our research showcased at this conference highlighting New Approach Methodols (NAMs). We hope to see you at our posters:

Tuesday 29, October 2024 Poster Session III and IV

ToxStrategies has extensive experience in using NAMs, specializing in:

  • Application of NAMs to inform hazard and risk assessments
  • Assessment of data-limited chemicals, including development and utilization of existing in silico tools and methods (PBPK and QSAR models, ECOSAR, EPISUITE, OPERA, and more).
  • Primary literature search strategies and leadership in the advancement of study-quality evaluation approaches.
  • Endocrine disruption assessment (human health and non-target/ecological), consisting of weight-of-evidence evaluations for endocrine-mediated activity, adversity, and plausibility relating to estrogen, androgen, thyroid, and steroidogenesis pathway perturbations.
