Abstract
Review question
Are whole dairy products (including yogurt, milk, or cheese) associated with any non-inflammatory immune outcomes, including (but not limited to) improvements in markers of immune function, vaccine efficacy, infection protection, or improvement of allergic diseases? Are the specific components of dairy products (including whey proteins, casein, fat, probiotic strains traditionally found in these products, or milk fat globular membrane) associated with any changes in these immune functions? Are non-traditional or experimental probiotic strains added to yogurt or milk associated with any of these changes in immune function?
